safety and health policy

We produce mouthpieces using 3D printing technology and offer digital mouthpieces suitable for 3D printing.

We are familiar with discussions about the safety and health of 3D-printed mouthpieces, as well as those of conventional mouthpieces made of hard rubber, plastic, and metal. Regardless of the material used, it is the user's responsibility to ensure the safety and health of the mouthpiece, instrument, and reeds. However, this is only possible if the manufacturer informs the user about proper product maintenance.

The product: DMC-printed mouthpieces
The mouthpieces are produced with food-safe PLA that is fully biodegradable, including the dyes used.

The mouthpieces are printed using a 100% infill technique that minimizes the risk of microscopic voids. The goal is to prevent voids where saliva can accumulate and bacteria can grow.

After printing, the nozzles are coated multiple times with food-safe tung oil. This further reduces the risk of the aforementioned cavities. Tung oil is food-safe and is also used on children's toys.

Between coating steps, the nozzle is processed manually to level the table and ensure the tip and facing meet the required standards.

We recommend that those who print their own nozzles use the same method to ensure the safest possible product.

We also advise users to regularly clean the nozzle with lukewarm water and soap after use.
