This is our favorite mouthpiece for tenor saxophone out of the Session model series.

It offers a great sound: a broad spectrum, rich in all registers, specially for the medium register which results in an excellent projection.  It is an easy blowing mouthpiece with an excellent articulation. It offers a well-balanced tuning and easy control which is comfortable for a Jazz mouthpiece.

Like most mouthpieces for jazz this mouthpiece has a smooth transition from the bore to the chamber. There is no narrowing in the transition. It has a medium roll-over baffle that enables the easy blowing.  

It became our favorite because this mouthpiece is the winner of our matrix analysis that in fact is a selection out almost a hundred different mouthpieces. We defined a matrix of different mouthpieces as the result of analysis of lot of well known and legendary mouthpieces that are used for smooth jazz. As a result we defined a matrix of mouthpieces that covers in fact all smooth jazz mouthpieces we know.
